Basic TR File Structure

TR3 files closely parallel HTML files with some exceptions and additions.

Additions

• The <New> Tag: The Cornerstone of the TR file. The New tag defines new sections within the file. It is all that is needed to turn any text file into a TomeRaider file.
• Category Tags : Categories allow really powerful database like queries and filters on TR3 files
• Specific meta tags

Exceptions

• Animated Gifs
• Embedded Media Objects
• Frames
• Tables are not currently supported in Palm OS TomeRaider 3
• Scripts (Anything between <script> and </script> is ignored)
