Writing a Raid Script

Raid scripts are divided into a "Definition" and "Processes".

In the Definition section things common to the whole script are defined. Eg. Start Page URL, site logo, test conditions etc.

There can be any number of "Processes" written and in a "Process" commands are written either to extract links or extract article or do both.

All raid scripts must end with the extension raid.txt and be located in either:

C:\artciles\scripts\test\ For testing purposes

C:\artciles\scripts\ To be accessed and processed by NewsRaider

Please read Part 5 for more information on testing raid scripts using the includes RaidScriptTester.exe

Note: Examples provided in this manual may not work as it is, since, the web site creators might have changed the format of the pages by the time you are trying them.
